Fonts that are no longer available
You will have noticed that some fonts that were offered before as a free download are no longer available for free at our website. However, our customers can always request any of the formerly freeware fonts not available here, free of charge, and they are shipped as a bonus, in addition to any purchase.
Why are some of the font no longer offered here as a free download? Typephases has been offering a variety of free fonts and dingbats for six years. Meanwhile, some font archive websites have added our originals to their own offerings, often disregarding our terms of use. We will not dedicate any extra time or effort hunting down these archives to try have our fonts removed or at least to be given proper credit. But we also do think it is time visitors who only wishes to download our freeware fonts start using these websites' bandwith rather than ours to get the files.
Some font archives and web services deserve our respect, because they give you proper credit for your original creations and keep the readme files intact in their downloads. But in many other cases they act without such common sense and respect. In some cases, they even dare asking the user to mention that OUR fonts has been gracefully offered by their service!
It is a sad and common story: some other websites that have been offering the web community a wealth of original fonts have ended up closing their operation because of those reasons.
So... we will still offer some free downloads here, but the rest will be "out there". We plan to expand our current offer of exclusive creations to professional designers and people that wants to use our original illustration, dingbats and fonts in their projects. We want to remind you again that if you are a Typephases client, you can get any of the discontinued fonts if you can't find them elsewhere.
